The Idea

Food and Indonesian are 2 inseparable items: food are just too good to be true in Indonesia and Indonesians can not live a day without thinking of food. So it is just make sense that food has been the binding among Arvina (Vina), Fina, Dila and Ferro, four Perthians from Indonesia. 
Initially Fina popped up the idea of creating a humble food business to the Hers couple, Dila and Ferro. They responded well and even brought Vina, the creator of home catering "Don't Cook We Cook" to the talk. The fantastic four immediately  discussed their vision, over many dinner dates (of course!). 

The Concept

It was not difficult to agree on the concept of a modern 'warung' for the first venture. Warung is the Indonesian term for a rather-small eatery, scattered around the country and identical for an affordable homemade-style meal. Warung is easy to be accepted by people, regardless. Homestyle meal is always comforting, the food you will eventually returning to. 
Considering all 4 is linked to Minang in some ways, Warung Padang serving Minang cuisines is the agreed concept. However, since they are all a foodie, every now and then, this Warung will embrace other Indonesian foods. 

The Four Founder

Puti Arvina Rheinita, or goes by the nickname 'Vina' is a Minang descendant, but grew up in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. She moved to Perth since year 11, graduated from Murdoch and ECU (MBA). Previously she was an Environmental Engineering Consultant who loves to cook for just a small circle of friends. Totally Rendang challenged her to cook each day
